Could Do Better - Why Is There No 5 Star Car? 

 

With consumer awareness of the impact of driving on the environment on the rise, oil and petrol prices high, and economic insecurity deepening – the car buying public has the right to ask the car industry why it isn’t doing better in producing a truly sustainable vehicle. Here at Ecotest we would echo that concern. Whilst there have been improvements in the performance of the cars on the market at the moment, those improvements have not been universal, and we are not seeing the progress which there could – and should be – towards the 5 Star car. The EU consumer deserves a better deal.
